How to Hang a Noticeboard 

All our noticeboards come with a simple, easy to use fixing kit. This can be used to quickly and conveniently mount noticeboards on a variety of walls. Many of our boards can be hung either portrait or landscape, so that you can get the most out of your space and display. 

Many noticeboards can be hung on a wall with no nails whatsoever. This prevents lasting damage to a wall, and means you can easily take it down and position elsewhere if you need to. The process takes just a couple of minutes: 

Step 1: Hold the noticeboard up where you’d like to hang it on the wall. Make a small mark with a pencil so you’ve got a reference when you come to hang it (ask someone to help you do this). 

Step 2: Wipe the wall down where your noticeboard will be situated Any dirt or dust will weaken the connection your noticeboard has with the wall, so make sure any debris is removed before you stick. 

Step 3: You’ll probably have a hook and an adhesive strip (which might already be attached to the hook). Peel off the paper liner from the hook and press it against the wall firmly for around 30 seconds. If the adhesive strip is separate, peel and press against the hook until fixed then attach to the wall. The hook should now be comfortably secure on the wall.  

Step 4: Wait a period of time (an hour should be fine) before coming back and hanging the noticeboard onto the hook.  

How to Secure a Noticeboard 

If security is an important factor, you should invest in a safe, lockable noticeboard.
