With Christmas just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get into the festive spirit. To celebrate, Furniture At Work™ are giving one lucky winner the chance to win £500. All you need to do is give your office desk a Christmas makeover. From tinsel and baubles, to fairy lights and fake snow, dust off your decorations and treat your workspace to a new look for the holiday season. Your efforts will be judged on your usage of interior design and photography skills to create a desk space that is relevant to Christmas, stylish and that’s worthy of a Christmas card. The more festive the better, so if you fancy claiming the prize, it’s time to deck your desk! How to enter To enter, simply take a photo of your newly decorated workspace, and share it with us in the following ways:

This Competition is promoted by Furniture@Work Limited (Registered Company Number SC210163)  with a registered office address of Homelea House Faith Avenue, Quarriers Village, Bridge Of Weir, Renfrewshire, PA11 3TF and with the head office of its advertising department at Head Office, 20 Buchanan Street, Morrison Court, Glasgow, G1 3LB (the “Promoter”) HOW TO ENTER To be classed as a valid entry, entrants must enter using one of the following entry methods:
    • Reply to the Competition Tweet on @Furniture_Work using the hashtag #DeckYourDesk, sharing an image of their festive workspace.
    • Reply to a Competition post on the Facebook page @FurnitureAtWork using the hashtag #DeckYourDesk, sharing an image of their festive workspace.

The Terms:
  1. The Competition begins at 09:00am on 20/11/2017 (the “Start Date”). The Competition closes at 17:00 on 20/12/2017 (the “End Date”).
  2. Entry is open to all residents of the UK, except the Promoter’s employees and their immediate families (such as children, spouses, siblings, aunts, uncles and grandparents); or employees, officers or agents of any companies associated with the Competition, or people under the age of 18 years.
  3. One entry per social media account (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram) will be accepted.
  4. By sharing your entry, you understand that you are entering the competition and agree to these Competition rules (the “Rules”). The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entry from the Competition at any time if they have a reason to believe that the entrant has breached any of the rules or these Terms.
  5. The winner will be notified by the Promoter via the platform of which they entered on or after 20/12/2017.
  6. The winner will be judged on their usage of interior design and photography skills to create a desk space that is relevant to Christmas, stylish and that’s worthy of a Christmas card.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner-up if: the winner is not eligible; or the winner cannot reasonably be contacted by the Promoter.
  8. The prize will be awarded to one winner only. It is a cheque prize to the value of £500. The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable.
  9. The Prize will be sent to the winner no more than 14 days after the 20/12/2017 (the “End Date”) by special delivery mail.
  10. The winner may be asked to provide identification. Any winner who is not contactable or who fails to return contact within 48 hours of notification after reasonable efforts have been made to contact them will be disqualified, they thereby forfeit their right to the prize, no compensation will be given and a reserve entrant will be selected as an alternative winner.
  11. The winner will be chosen by an independent person, the selection of the winner is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize package.
  13. In the event of unforeseen circumstances The Promoter reserve the right to substitute the prize package for an alternative of equal or greater value.
  14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the prize provider refuses to issue the prize.
  15. By entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the processing of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of administration of this Competition.
  16. Any information submitted in entrance of this Competition will be held privately for the sole purposes of the Competition and with no use by third-party companies.
KEY PRINCIPLES OF THE WINNERS AGREEMENT
  1. The winner of the Competition consent to his/her image appearing in any promotional media coverage without additional compensation resulting from publicity announcing the winner of the Competition, on the Promoter’s website and on social media channels.
  1. The Promoter may require the right to use the winner’s image in additional marketing collateral and campaigns and the winners of the Competitions consent to the use by the Promoter of his/her image in additional competitions without additional compensation.
TERMS OF USE
  1. Entrants must not use the Competition:
    1. to breach any applicable local, national or international law or regulation; in any way that is fraudulent, or has a fraudulent purpose or effect;
    2. to upload material which is obscene, offensive, sexually explicit or promotes violence;
    3. to upload material in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
    4. to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent their identity or affiliation with any person (including discrediting, removing or falsifying author credits from any material uploaded);
    5. to abuse, defame, harass or threaten others;
    6. to knowingly attempt to upload or attach malicious programs or software that may compromise others’ operating systems; or g. to knowingly upload or post information that is in breach of intellectual property laws.
  1. The Promoter may remove entries from the Competition at any time if it believes that it has been made in breach of the Terms of the Competition.
GENERAL
  1. Events beyond our control: Events may occur that render the Competition or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of The Promoter. The Promoter may, at its discretion, make such variations or amendments to the Competition as it feels are necessary as a result of such events.
  1. Cancellation of the Competition: While the Promoter will use every effort to ensure the Competition is open until the intended closing date it reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition in whole or in part at any time. The Promoter endeavors to give 7 days' notice of such a cancellation, termination, modification or suspension. If this is not possible we shall give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
  1. Entire Agreement: These Terms (together with the documents referred to in them) constitute the entire agreement between you and the Promoter in relation to your entry to the Competition, and supersede and extinguish all previous agreements in respect of the Competition.
  1. Other promotions: Any other promotions shown on the Promoter’s Facebook and Furniture at Work Twitter will be governed by their own separate terms and conditions.
  1. Applicable Law: The Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
  1. Additional charges: Unless otherwise stated, all taxes, insurance, fees and surcharges on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
